Welcome to my wordpress blog! My name is Johnny Stenback, and I work as an engineering director at Mozilla. My history with Mozilla goes back to the late 90′s, when I started contributing to the project, then as an employee of CiTEC, in Finland, which is where I’m originally from. Since then I’ve moved to the US (over a decade ago now), now living in the San Francisco Bay Area. I initially moved to the US to work at Netscape, and later on I became a Mozilla Foundation (and later a Corporation) employee. Most of my background with the Mozilla project is as a DOM code hacker (and I’m a DOM module owner), but nowadays I don’t so much find myself having time to actually do much, if any, actual hacking. On this blog you’ll likely find mostly posts relating to my work at Mozilla, but occasionally some private ramblings as well.
